Working with disabilities or chronic illnesses
TUM actively encourages the employment of severely disabled persons and supports them in their working life. The university has committed to this goal in its integration agreement “TUMiteinander” in the sense of the SGB IX and the “Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz” (AGG). Various services at TUM and outside of TUM offer counselling and support with issues and problems concerning working with a disability or chronic illness.
Counselling
The first contact point for employees of TUM with disabilities or chronic illnesses is the Disabled Persons Office. Further counselling offers can be found on the page Counselling.
